The Romantik Hotel Haus Platte in Attendorn-Niederhelden, located in the idyllic Repetal valley in the southern Sauerland region, is a fourth-generation, family-owned 4-star superior hotel. 
Our hotel offers approximately 60 modern guest rooms and suites, a spacious wellness and beauty area, conference rooms, and an extensive range of leisure and sports activities—including an 18-hole golf course and horseback riding.
We have been part of the international Romantik Hotels & Restaurants network for over 30 years. 

Your Future Role – Building Technician (m/f/d)
We are looking for a dedicated Building Technician (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible—someone who will put their heart and expertise into ensuring that our hotel remains in top condition so that our guests can feel completely at home.

Your tasks:

– Operation and monitoring of all technical systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, swimming pool and sauna facilities)
– Minor repairs in hotel operations, Troubleshooting technical issues in guest and event areas, depending on knowledge and skills
– Ensuring operational safety, performing regular maintenance and inspections of buildings and outdoor facilities
– Collaborating with external service providers and tradespeople, and coordinating maintenance activities
– Providing support, as needed, for events, conferences, and special arrangements with regard to technology and infrastructure
– On-call duty as agreed upon

Your profile:

– Preferred (not required): Completed technical training (e.g., as a carpenter or electrician) or comparable qualification
– Independent, reliable work style with an eye for detail – in an environment with high-quality standards
– Good German language skills, communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team
– Flexibility, dedication, and a strong sense of responsibility; you “see what needs to be done” 
– If necessary, willingness to work on so-called weekends and so-called holidays.
