Die Sterne im Sauerland" regularly organizes training courses, meetings and excursions for trainees and employees, which you can register for.

  • On this page you will always find the latest upcoming dates.
  • The actual registration usually takes place approx. 3 weeks in advance.
  • The respective invitation will then be displayed in the hotel or published via the internal communication system.
  • Registration is always handled by the HR office. You can also clarify any questions here.

Take the opportunity to further your personal development and get to know your colleagues from the other hotels.

Annual management training program / pilot project with named participants
A one-day training course every month on topics such as leadership, time management, conflict resolution and motivation.

AI Workshop with Prof. Dr. Kleine
Location: Hotel Deimann
Prof. Dr. Kleine will guide business owners and key staff members through the world of AI and explain how it can meaningfully support our industry.

"The Wonderful Potato" Workshop
Location: GenussLust / Waldhaus Ohlenbach
In the informational session, Manss Frischeservice and Burgis Knödelliebe will showcase the wide variety of potato varieties and their characteristics. The hands-on session will then offer tips on how to creatively spice up classic potato dishes.

Seminar: "Dealing with complaints and difficult situations"
Location: Hotel Platte
Renate Stolle from the DEHOGA Academy Baden-Württemberg will give helpful tips on how to remain confident in difficult situations. There will be numerous exercises, including role-playing.

Tour of the Rameil Trout Farm
Location: Lennestadt-Saalhausen
Thomas Rameil explains the unique aspects of trout farming and what is particularly important in this process. You’ll also get an insight into how the fish are processed and smoked. In addition to hands-on activities, a tasting is planned.

Fermentation Workshop with Björn Lülf (Pilot project by Gasthof Schütte, Jagdhaus Wiese, and Hotel Voss)
Location: Kleine Freiheit Fleckenberg
The chefs and apprentices will delve deeper into the topic of fermentation. If the workshop is successful, additional sessions may be scheduled if there is interest.

Basic Cocktail Training
Location: Gasthof Schütte
How did the idea for cocktails come about? What are the different preparation methods, and which cocktails are part of the basic repertoire? Frederic Funke from Hotel Deimann and Joachim Welter from Gasthof Schütte will answer these questions for you. Includes hands-on exercises.

Locations: Meerbusch & Düsseldorf
BosFood is a leading wholesaler of exquisite, exotic, and unique products from around the world. Simone Bos, a member of the owner family, has put together an exciting program for you that brings this world of products to life.
The 25h Hotels chain has a special history. Neslisah Ellenbeck, Brand & Marketing Manager, will take you on a journey through the 25h brand world and its “storytelling.” During a tour of the premises, you’ll learn about the unique history of the 25h Das Tour Hotel.

Here is a list of training topics that have been collected in the idea pool. You are welcome to submit your requests to the cooperation office.

Product training: Beverages (sherry/whiskey), sparkling wine training, chocolate workshop, salts, juices, spirits

Specialized Training: Reception Training, Food Technology/Shelf Life

Day Trip: Fish Farm in Zeeland, Netherlands

Other: Trainee exchange (usually in November)

If you would like to make a reservation for an event, you can send a message to info@die-sterne-im-sauerland.de. Your interest will be noted here and passed on to the HR department when the invitation to the event is sent to the hotels approx. 3 weeks before the date. However, you should also keep an eye on the dates yourself and actively approach your contacts at the hotel.
