Which hotel trains what?

Which hotel offers which apprenticeships? With the 2- and 3-year apprenticeships, there is an offer for every starting point - regardless of whether you have a high school diploma, intermediate or secondary school leaving certificate or are a migrant from another country. We will be happy to advise you on what suits you best. There is also the opportunity for a trial internship!

Internship

You can read a lot about a profession in a hotel. It is more important to get an idea on the spot and gain practical experience of what it feels like to work in a hotel. Then you get to know the working environment and the people who would work with you.

That's why we invite you to get a taste of what we're all about, whether it's during a school internship, a voluntary internship during the school holidays or the career orientation days. If you are already of age, you can also work with us in a part-time job and thus, in addition to a decent pocket money, also gain useful impressions about us as an employer and training company.

You are very welcome! You are also welcome to come with your parents to clarify all questions together.

Simply get in touch with the hotel that interests you. You will find the contact details below.

Job discovery tour

A special offer for explorers who want to know what everyday life is like in a hotel, preferably in different establishments.
Opt for a tour of 3 or 5 consecutive days in different hotels of the "Die Sterne im Sauerland" cooperation - a new hotel every day, a new experience!

Gap Year South Westphalia

A great offer in South Westphalia for all pupils and young people who do not yet know in which direction they want to choose their profession:

1 year with 3 internships in 3 different industries/companies.

This practical experience will help you find out what suits you... or not at all. And it's not all for nothing: you even get paid for your work as part of the internship and receive a travel allowance.

The hotels of the "Sterne" cooperation are involved and offer internships. You can find us on the Gap Year homepage under "Hotel / Gastronomy / Tourism".

So - how about a "star test run" in your gap year?

Trade fairs and events

Career guidance made easy - there are many trade fairs and events where you can get initial information about apprenticeships in the hotel. We have a stand at a number of trade fairs. We also visit schools directly.

We have summarized all dates on one page.

pre(ure)parts

We know there are some caveats for the hospitality industry. However, that is always only part of the truth. There are two sides to everything! So that you can inform yourself comprehensively, we have also taken up and explained the second side of these reservations.
